The best way to keep up to date with Saffron Walden Town FC

Harding Gives a Bit Back

7 months ago By Glen Wilkinson

Sammy Harding, a regular name for the Reserves over the past few seasons has been added to the coaching staff at Saffron Walden Town FC

With match opportunities not being as regular as last season, the club have been quick to utilise the skills, knowledge and commitment Harding has in abundance to help aid the progression of initially, the youth players at the club.

U15 Manager and “Hard Core” Blood, Shane Mills has happily agreed to take Sammy onto his coaching team and offer his squad as much support as possible.

Mills said, “it’s a good time for the club, having someone like Sammy come and help me with the talented squad I have at the moment”

Modest as ever Harding was keen to downplay the importance of his new role. “I will still remain registered to the club and will play the odd game here and there but I am really excited about being part of Shane’s team and hope I can help his players move up the ladder
