STATEMENT FROM THE SAFFRON WALDEN TOWN FC BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Saffron Walden Town FC – Announcement

The Saffron Walden Town Football Club would like to announce that CKL Events Ltd and the football club have now parted company as CKL no longer wish to continue in their business arrangement with the club. We have tried to support CKL with an alternative way of them still working at the club, but unfortunately they have refused this option.
The board wishes them every success in their new ventures.

Saffron Walden Town Football Club have now taken back control of the Clubhouse and Tea Bar and we would like to reassure the members & supporters that, although this has left the club with a significant financial shortfall, plans are in place with new sponsorship and initiatives to cover the losses incurred due to the ending of the former agreement. The future of this club is of the highest importance to all of us.

The board are now also actively looking to recruit new committee members & volunteers to join us as we embark on this new chapter for Saffron Town Football Club

Please can we ask all our fans to carry on supporting the Clubhouse, Tea Bar, management and most importantly the players as we push for promotion this season.
Thank you for your continued support and loyalty that you have all shown during this difficult period.
