With four players missing from last weeks line up (Anderson bruised back, Cannon broken leg, Strong and Vallis with holiday commitments) Walden failed to make their early advantage count in the second half to gain the three points.

Some good work by Chadwick who outpaced his marker to cross to Collins who beat Chatters with curling shot into the top corner of the goal. 1-0 (5minutes).  Later Ben Riches shrugged off a tackle to set Richardson up with a shot that was cleared off the line by Tom Deller.

Minutes later Chadwicks cross found the head of Richardson, but his header skimmed the cross bar. On the half time mark Richardson outran his marker and let fly a volley that Chatters managed to hold.

In the second half Walden continued to attack and some good work by James  Solkhen set Butchart up with a scissor kick that curled over the bar. Spike Bell on for the injured Richardson beat the offside trap but his shot was parried by Chatters to deny a goal. Stowmarket replied when Austin King found himself in space but shot wide of the exposed goal.

Bloods captain Tommy Butchart showed off his silky skills when he side stepped a lunging tackle and fired in a shot that Chatters somehow tipped over the bar. 

The game looked to be going Walden’s way, but in the closing minutes a cross was met by Austin King with a looping header that beat Pledger in the Bloods goal. 1-1 (87minutes).
