Cultural Olympiad Exhibition at Saffron Walden Library.

Leading up to the Olympic Games in July, the Library will be featuring notable sportsman from the town, and the Saffron Walden Town Football Club, which will be 140 years old this year, has been asked to launch the exhibition. Other sports will be featured over the coming months.

About twenty players, who have had special achievements, made
significant contributions, or created club records, have been featured in the display, which has been compiled by Club Historian Paul Daw. In addition two large presentation books, detailing the clubs history, are also on display, and feature hundreds of team photographs.

The Exhibition of the "Bloods" football personalities, will continue until the end of January, and is free to the public. Some copies of Paul Daw's Saffron Walden Town F.C.'s Club History book, will be on sale at the library at a cost of £3.00 each
